Adoption Assessment Services

Many countries require psychological assessment as part of the process to become approved to adopt internationally.  I have been providing psychological assessment for international adoption for several years, and have worked with families adopting from Thailand, Taiwan, China, Haiti, Korea, Russia and more.

Adoption-Focused Psychological Assessment Interview:  This interview follows a structured diagnostic interview template, with special questions that are directly focused on adoption issues such as parenting, attachment and adjustment.  Most countries require that each parent have a separate interview. Schedule an adoption assessment interview.

Psychological Testing: Most countries require standardized psychological testing to accompany the diagnostic interview.  The specific tests vary widely from country to country, so please check with your agency about country-specific requirements.  Schedule psychological testing.
