Celebration Giveaway

In the last week, I have reached two major landmarks for this blog–the one year “blog birthday” and my 100th post.  The energy for this blog comes from the work that I do with clients and the powerful interactions that I have with people in my online communities.  I couldn’t continue to generate new posts without the inspiration and support that I get from you all.  I wanted to let you know how grateful I am.  I appreciate your contributions–when you comment, read, and share, you breathe life into this blog.

I am inspired by you, and so I want to say thank you.  In appreciation for your contributions to this blog and to my growth, I am giving away three books.  This is how it will work.  I have put together a fun carousel widget full of some of the books that I turn to for inspiration.  If you’d like to add one of these books to your library, tell me so in the comments.  Wednesday night, January 18th, I’ll close the comments and randomly select three winners.

Once again, I am so grateful to each of you.  Thanks for your inspiration!

  1. Hi Ann!

First of all, congratulations, Ann! 100 posts ! A great accomplishment! I do love the Mindfulness Stress Reduction Book! I had not heard of it! And I read alot of books! Mindfulness is a great way to pull down the stress noise in our lives! I have been a student of mindfulness for many years now. I am always encouraging my clients to use mindfulness, but I need to keep remembering to apply these meditative concepts to my own life myself, in order to respect myself and my own limitations!
    Love, Kathy

  2. Kudos to you on your blog birthday, Ann! Love the celebratory fireworks!

And many thanks for the reading recommendations! I am most drawn to Radical Acceptance: Embracing Your Life With the Heart of a Buddha and A Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workbook. I need to work on both, which I hope will lead to reappraisal, resilience and renewal in the new year.

  3. Ann congratulations on 100 posts. May you write many more 100’s!

Wow it’s tricky to choose but I think I’d pick Beautiful You. I remind the mums who I counsel (most have postpartum depression) that if their babies could speak they’d say to them “You are beautiful to me”..it would be a wonderful resource to help them re-connect with their magnificent selves.

  4. Sorry for the slow reply ladies! You are *all* the winner. Please use the “contact me” link to email me your mailing address and book choice. 🙂
